Due to multitasking, eating habit are affected. People eat food while working, watching TV, phone scrolling or by talking with others. Sometimes people are in hurry that doesn’t even realize that they are just swallowing their food. Eat entire bag of chips or cookies without being consciously aware. Eating while thinking or doing during eating has become habit now days. Dieting is also a matter of self-discipline.

Trick your mind by eating food mindfully. 

Diet is boring for mind. For most of the people diet doesn’t work. The more we restrict our food the more we feel like eating. Eating Mindless has become habit because of so many distractions and busy life. If dieting is not working for you then you should try mindful eating habit.

Mindfulness activity teach your mind to eat slow. It allows to think before reacting. Food have connection with emotions. For example – we eat sweets during celebration. Brain learns to associate sweets with good emotions. so, brain learned the conditioning that we eat sweets when we are happy. Due to which we eat sweets or other food which makes us feel happy when we are emotionally triggered. Its not bad to eat it but it become problem when we eat it without being consciously aware. Now brain has learned the new conditioning that sweets improve bad mood.

As above example most of time brain learn conditioning the certain food with emotions. This is the main reason why most of the people do binge eating during their sad or anxious mood.

DON’T WORRY YOU CAN REWIRE YOUR BRAIN

Mindful eating is technique to eat food with full attention without any judgement. Don't label your food ''bad'' or ''good''. It helps to avoid eating excess Amount of food. It's not about what you eat; it's about how you feel.  You will enjoy your food more when you pay more attention to it. Use your sense while eating food like touch it, smell it, feel it and then eat it. Observe your thoughts while eating food.  Ask before and after your meal ‘’How are you feeling after eating?’’. Mindfulness help to keep you full with less food. Mindfulness can create healthy relationship with food. Mindfulness is nothing new it’s just our traditional habits like sitting and eating food, chewing for 20 minutes, paying attention only on food, not to eat while standing etc. Enjoy food like it’s really tasty.

Learn the habit of eating mindfully to avoid obesity or other eating disorder. Mindful eating help brain to understand body signals. It’s helps to reduce weight and improves digestions.  Mindfulness helps to understand emotions. Rather than eating food when you’re sad it’s better to observe thoughts mindfully. It might feel difficult but it’s an effective way to reduce weight without getting distracted.

Mindfulness helps you lose weight by changing your eating behaviors and reducing stress.
